Mr Drain Leak Detection is a division of Mr Drain Plumbing Inc  providing water – Sewer and natural gas line testing, inspections and leak detection using the latest technologies . We offer our services both to residential and commercial clientele and have been providing Specialized Leak Detection services for over 10 years. We have a few different latest ways to detect leaks in different materials and environments.

Natural Gas Leak Detecting and Inspecting We use special equipment that can detect natural gas leaks along both exposed and hidden pipes, fittings and fixtures. We may use electronic natural gas detecting equipment with probes that detect and identify natural gas leaking if the suspected leak is associated to exposed pipes, fittings or fixtures. We may use pressure testing and sound listing devices to detect and identify the exact location of a gas leak that may be exposed or hidden. We may also us video cameras to inspect the plumbing for visual signs of any leaks that may be present. The equipment used will be determined by plumbing material type, access and desired results. A suspected and exposed leak can usually be identified quickly, however, testing and inspecting the associated plumbing might require different methods to insure no additional or potential natural gas leaks are present.

Water Leak Detecting and Inspecting. With all of our leak detection services, there are different methods and equipment used, from visual aids to ground penetrating sonar. Using state of the art technology and well trained experienced plumbers, we can locate and identify the source of any water leak within plumbing material. This can be commercial plumbing in factories or apartment complexes or residential plumbing in houses or condominiums. It can be exposed, hidden, in concrete or underground, wherever it is, we will find it. The procedure for detecting leak in the slab goes as first all the water lines are isolated and then air is pumped in the line keeping 15 to 20 psi pressure in the lines and then with a electronic device the air is listened leaking in slab the point where the air is listened more is the infected area then we use the infrared scanner to see the infected area and the blue mark in the report shows the infected area. After the detection a radio amplifier is used to trace the lines and final step comes the easiest and cost effective way to fix that leak

Experts at Mr Drain Plumbing qualify In { Repiping Put link here for repipe } your whole house without the interruptions and disconnections of the water or gas supply in most cases we can repipe your whole house in one day beside { Repiping put link here } our experts also specialize in rerouting the effected pipes so once the service technician is at your home feel free to ask any questions that you have. Water and Natural Gas Leaks are costly and waste resources. Undetected over time can be quite an expensive waste. We encourage regular natural gas and water supply testing to insure efficiency and safety, especially with galvanized plumbing greater than 10 years, commercial or public access areas and areas where plumbing vibrates or is exposed to pressures.

Anyone with swimming pools, saunas, spas or additional outdoor plumbing should also consider inspecting regularly. An undetected leak can be very expensive with outdoor plumbing and can cause equipment to operate out of the scope of their expected performance.

surface removal. State-of-the-art technology called Thermal Imaging allows Flood Pro to virtually see through walls and pinpoint moisture sources. Call Flood Pro today and let us help you find your stubborn leak.

Leaks Are More Than Just Stubborn:

A leaky pipe inside your walls can be more than just a stubborn wet spot. As moisture levels rise internally, it provides a perfect medium for microbial growth such as mold and bacteria. If you notice a damp spot on your walls or carpet, call Flood Pro immediately to schedule a free moisture testing to ensure your structure suffers no additional damage.

Slab leak symptoms
The sound of running water when no water should be running, you could have a slab leak.
A hot spot on the floor could indicate a hot water line leak in your slab.
If you observe cracks in walls or floors, it could be damage from a slab leak.
Mildew or excessive moisture under carpets could indicate your slab is cracked and the pipes inside are leaking water.
High water bills could also indicate a slab leak. Although a high water bill could indicate a water leak behind the wall, or in your pool, plumbing under the slab is also suspect.

Finding your slab leak
Breaking into a slab or pool deck, without positive confirmation of a leak location, is unacceptable and un professional. Don’t let anyone dismantle your property just to search for leaks. Finding a slab leak requires a thorough process with technical expertise, as well as experience.Locating leaks non-destructively requires the use of modern tools such as electronic amplification equipment and electromagnetic pipeline locators. With the proper equipment, leaks can be found and repaired with minimal disruption to property. In many cases, only a single floor tile needs to be removed and replaced.

Mr Drain Leak Detection’s highly trained technicians use our own non-invasive leak detection equipment to accurately locate the leak to save time, money and avoid unnecessary property damage.

Slab leak repair options

Once the leak has been located under the slab our leak specialist will provide repair options. Slab leak repair options may include:
• Spot repair: open up the slab at the spot of the leak and repair leaking pipe. This option is cost effective for newer construction.
• Repipe or Reroute: replace the entire line that was leaking. This is most effective for older plumbing systems that have a history of leaking.
• In-place pipe coating: If the plumbing system has a series of small leaks that would be cost prohibitive or too inconvenient to dig up the slab, the in-place epoxy pipe coating could be the best option.

Be prepared when requesting a slab leak detection service

How much water is leaking?
Hint: Check your water meter when your water is turned off. Why do you think it is in your slab?
Hint: Look for hot or warm spots on the floor, or wet spots that have no external source, or the sound of running water when none should be heard. How many sinks, toilets and showers are in your home?
